sorry hose.

family comes first.

especially my longsuffering bride, who hasn't had much time to see me the last couple of weeks of my project.

I may be an old fart, but we've only been married a couple of years, so we're extending the honeymoon as long as possible.

At 11:31 PM, Blogger Hosedragger said... and all the other gerbils owe noone here an apology for anything anytime. Go be with your lovely bride. I am just writing another article.

Get comfy SFYankee. I'm usually lurking about this time of night although it's a little early for me to start singing. How're you doing?

I'd go with the hot cocoa and soldiers while you snuggle in.

Hose, 'evening. Whatcha writing about?

At 12:09 AM, Blogger SBH said...

Woops! See how I should always use "priview"?

"soldiers" is a piece of hot buttered toast cut into strips. Perfect for dipping into the cocoa. You can put cinnamon sugar on them but it can be overkill.

Took awhile to do research. I couldn't find any of the quotes where she claims to be smarter than anyone else on the planet. They are there, but I couldn't find them

Family time calls - so here's a quick lullaby for tonight. Let's dedicate this one to the first responders and Armed Forces gerbils. Sleep tight and G-d bless.

Hush, hush, time to be sleeping.
Hush, hush, dreams come a creeping.
Dreams of peace and freedom -
Don't cry in your sleep pretty baby.

Hell of a quote and admission from Ms. CCFCCP:

I bet my brain shows conflict when I look at dubya but I'm pretty sure it's not because I am secretly attracted to his confident demeanor."

Good morning from the East Side.

I will be out most of the day attending a birthday party at Chuckee Cheese, where I shall greatly enjoy playing Wack-A-Mole.

In honor of this memorial weekend, the morning song today is a bit different. Silly-happy morning returns on Tuesday.

Today, Freedom by Paul McCartney.

This is my right, a right given by god
To live a free life, to live in freedom

We talkin' about freedom
Talkin' bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in freedom

Anyone, who wants to take it away
Will have to answer, cause this is my right

We talkin' about freedom
Talkin' bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in freedom, ah yeah, comon now...

You talkin' about freedom
We're talkin' bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in freedom

Everybody talkin' bout freedom
Talkin' bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in free----------dom

Hi! Just wanted to wish everyone here some sort of peace in your hearts as we're so near 9/11. It's not like the emotions over the black event are ever totally gone, but I know it's tougher around this time with the memorial services, media, and with just the thought. So I wish you all healing.

At 8:11 AM, Blogger Sulla said...

Thank you, Chell.

Welcome back.

or Sulla

I have mailed my 9/11 comment to Sinner. My typing skills are soooo bad that I had to write on a BIG page with spell check.

Also, if I had typed it in comments & then blooger wouldn't take it.. well, things would have gotten ugly.

I have, for the moment, hacked into a neighbor's wifi. The signal is weak, but I was able to start a new thread.

A very special thread!
