I have multiple AOL accounts. I resubbed to AW tonite to engage Deb, and honestly because I didnt care for the way she treated some of the folks on the list. Few interactions, and then I get one from her where Im boring and she's done with me. OK.
But, my email on that AOL account is unaccessible-all other AOL email accounts are fine. This is weird. I contact AOL and they cant fix it. The usual AOL; try again later. I check my Norton Firewall log and I guess Ive been under attack since I resubbed to AW as Svenbonk@aol.com

Sounds like Beau Kitty did some damage to you, Sven.
Someone can maliciously report your address as a spammer and it takes days to clear the block.
OK, any idea on fixing it? ANd then any idea on proofing wher eit came from? Becasue Eugene is a days drive

I wouldn't really worry about it (other than keeping your firewall up). It is most likely a worm or backdoor trojan scanning IP's for open ports on other systems (like yours, except you don't have any open ports, do you? And you've been good about keeping your AV up to date, right?). Depending on your ISP, you may get these more or less frequently than other people.

Hose and others, many of the .mil hits are coming from me or people that I have referred to your sites. I'm sure hawksp has probably done the same. This site and hosedragger's are two of my Firefox homepage tabs.

if the attacks are from the same IP, try putting that IP address in your restricted zone (Firewall Configuration, Networking tab).
You can also do ranges, if it's coming from similar IPs, but if they're also AOL then you need to take care not to block the AOL servers.

sven - I pinged that IP addressed, and it's resolving as one of AOL's servers. Sounds like it could be a worm or bot has taken it over, and your firewall is blocking attempts from it. Not a deb or beau thing, just a virus thing.
