DHDU

With Labor Day fast approaching, it's time to mothball the seersucker and break out the argyle.

SWP is inaugurating its Learning Annex, so why not launch our own Don't Hire Deb University.

For our decision analysis text, this book shows promise. I particularly recommend Chapter 13, which you can read by logging into Amazon.

And don't forget to Rate The Instructors. (h/t Hawksp)

Ha! We don't break out the argyle down here until late october - and then only for night wear. Jackets generally in mid Dec.

Man, time sure flies when you are approaching 40. Now, why did my name change? Oh well.

I can't WAIT till fall. My favorite time of year is from a week before Halloween until a week after New Years. That whole time period rocks out loud

mariposa -

Oh, sure, they all say good night, but they all come back -- lured, as butterflys to the flame. (I was going to write moths, but you're such a pretty butterfly that seemed kind of insulting.)

You'll be back. 1 hour, 2 hours, you'll be back before dawn.

Yeah, actionable, she sure has been using that a lot.

Okay, amigos. I know little about troubleshooting PC's, but I do like dancin', so with apologies to Johnny Cash: "Women's Prison Blues":

We heard Teh Crazee comin',
It rolled on round teh bend,
She ain't seen teh sunshine,
Since we don't know when,
She's stuck in Women's Prison,
Where time keeps draggin' on,
Because Teh Crazee kept on rollin',
On down to Old Tucson.

When she was just a baby,
Her Mama told her "Son,
Always be a good boy,
Don't ever play with puns",
But she trolled a man in Denver,
Said "If your child should die",
When we saw Teh Crazee comin',
We hung our heads and sighed.

She knows there's smart folks postin',
At teh VBS website,
She knows they're drinking somethin',
And havin' a great night,
But she knows she cannot join them,
She knows she can't be free,
And those peeps all keep a-laughin',
Because it's so phunee.

Well, if they freed her from teh prison,
VBS-ers would not mind,
They know she would keep crossin',
Over every blessed line,
Far from Women's Prison,
That's where she wants to stay,
But the green-can-man keeps comin',
To carry her away.

Okay - Joe likes chimp tar®, and I think chimp schmear® might be used by more folks. Let's have a popularity contest, what say?

Maybe a little Conway Twitty next time, and some Merle Haggard. In my opinion, the three best lines in Country Music History are:

1. "I turned 21 in prison serving life without parole."

2. "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die."

and,

3. "Hello, darlin'..."
